Get to Know Us!
Welcome! We are Cornel and Tamara Van Maren, the faces behind Van Maren Labradors. We live on a farm in Chilliwack, British Columbia and farm blueberries, hazelnuts and broiler chickens! We have three children who love exploring on the farm and playing with our Labs. Both Cornel and Tamara grew up with Labradors, so naturally, several years after we got married, we welcomed our own Labs into our family. Now, we currently own 4 CKC registered Labradors. We absolutely adore our Labs and spend every day with them.

Meet Our Labs
This is Jack. He is our 7 year old yellow Lab male. Jack is our "gentle giant" - weighing in at 90 pounds, he is blissfully unaware of his size. Jack loves belly scratches, playing with sticks, exploring with his friends and spending time with our family. Like a typical Lab, Jack is friends with everyone, especially those who give him lots of attention!
This is Remi. She is our 4 year old light yellow Lab female. Remi is our ray of sunshine. She is friendly, gentle with children, a little mischievous and an excellent cuddler. She enjoys playing with her human and doggie friends alike.

Daisy is our youngest Lab. She is 3 months old, and a beautiful black Lab. Daisy is a very smart, sweet puppy. She loves children and enjoys exploring outdoors. Daisy hopes to join our breeding program once she is old enough and has had her appropriate health testing done.
Clover is our retired fox red Lab female. Clover mothered several beautiful litters of puppies. She is a somewhat shy, playful girl who excels at playing fetch. Clover is a kind dog who makes friends easily.
